Committees and assigned Committee Heads
Art & Culture Committee
ARTS & CULTURE COMMITTEE (ACC). This committee is responsible for organizing PCC’s events that involve performance-based and musical activates. This committee also takes the lead in organizing major traditional celebrations such as Yald, and Mehregan. The ACC should prepare a proposal for each event that includes the nature of the event, date, location, and cost analysis. The proposal must be presented to the BOD for approval. Upon approval, ACC would assign a project manager (PM) for the event. The PM would then prepare the contract (s) for the entertainer, hall reservation, etc. for the EB signature. The PM should then put together a team for advertising, ticket sale, stage preparations, sound, light, ushering, etc. The ACC should have a petty cash budget to spend as it sees fit and then report to the BOD. This is to increase efficiency and to reduce the need for getting approval for small amounts. The amount can be up to $1,000. It can be modified by the BOD.
