The Midnight Sun (Khorshi-e Nimeh Shab) is the first directing experience of Shobeir Shirazi. The screenplay, written by Shobeir Shirazi is an adaptation of The Story of Panda Bears, written by Matei Vişniec. The film depicts nine days in the life of a young musician, which are unique and different from the rest of his life, spent in the company of a mysterious and comforting beautiful young woman.
