DESCRIPTION:Moaaser and Persian Cultural Center Present:\n\nAbout the concert:\n\nMOAASER is a free non-profit online music academy\, co-founded by Nasim Khorassani\, Pedram Diba\, and Sohrab Motabar\, supporting Iranian students. MOAASER runs annual courses in contemporary music and stands for freedom of expression and equity\, aiming to expand this cultural movement across the Iranian music society; in some ways\, our cultural revolution started two years ago! Due to the current circumstances in Iran\, we had to pause our fall course; instead\, we decided to perform our students’ work. This concert represents Voices From Iran that has never been heard\, and we have the honor to present them at Persian Cultural Center. Of this number\, 284\,500 are children. San Diegans facing nutrition insecurity are unable to provide three nutritious meals a day for themselves or their households.
